The Pupil Premium 

Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the Department for Education for publicly funded schools in England. The premium is to be used by schools to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.

At Bredgar CEP, the funding is used to support the learning and development of these specifically eligible children. We monitor the progress of all children closely we are pleased that children eligible for Pupil Premium make similar progress to their peers. This is clear evidence that we are supporting the progress of disadvantaged pupils well and using the additional Pupil Premium funding effectively.
